Our family-run Waldhotel Zöbischhaus is located in the middle of the forest, at 720 m altitude, near the three-tower town Auerbach.
Built around 1890 as Waldgut Zöbisch, it was transformed into a restaurant with a lodge for around 20 guests of the Sanatorium Bad Reiboldsgrün.
Since then, the Waldhotel Zöbischhaus is a popular excursion and recreation destination.

From the hotel you can do great
walking-tours on the surrounding hiking trails, cycling or biking tours.
In wintertime you can go skiing on the certified cross-country ski-tracks, which are nearby the hotel.
The Waldhotel Zöbischhaus is also an ideal starting point for excursions to the Vogtland/Erzgebirge, to the Czech Republic or to Bavaria (Franconia).

Whether from the hotel-window, from the balkony or the beer garden - the view over the
adjoining meadows, which are often used as horse-pairs, on the forest is wonderful.
If you want to look further, you can climb the 22 meter high Carlsturm, built in 1880. It is only a 5-minute walk to get there.
Also close by are 2 of the numerous forest lakes - the "Kleiner Hirschteich" and the "Großer Hirschteich".
The hiking trails and
excursion destinations are marked everywhere.
