The Kammweg Erzgebirge - Vogtland is divided in 17 (day) stages, but can also be planned individually according to your personal requirements.
The entry is possible everywhere as well as the running direction. All stages, including directions, route, altitude profil and
free GPS-tracks, are available as free downloads(*.ovl (TOP50), *.gpx (Garmin) and *.kml (Google Earth)).
On a total of 289 kilometers, the Kammweg Erzgebirge-Vogtland leads from Saxony to Thuringia.
Each of the 17 stages is characterized by ravishing nature and impressive sights.
Along the route, hikers will find special attractions such as the Seiffen Toy Village or the Saxonian Brewery Museum.
The start of the hiking trail is the train station Geising.
End of the hiking trail is the village Blankenstein.
Each of the 17 stages is between 18 and 30 km long.
From the Waldhotel an entrance in about 10 km distance (Schneckenstein) would be possible.
